Factory Environment — See Where Your Workwear Is Made

Every Xinyou garment is produced under one roof at our Taiyuan facility in Shanxi, China. We believe you should see where your orders come from — not stock photos of someone else’s factory. Below is a walkthrough of our complete production environment, from fabric inspection to final packing.

Raw Material Warehouse & Inspection

All incoming fabrics — polyester, poly-cotton, inherent FR, Oxford, PVC — go through our incoming QC station before entering production. We test for tear strength, abrasion resistance, color fastness, and flammability compliance against ANSI/ASTM and EN standards. Rejected lots never reach the cutting table.

Cutting Department

Computer-assisted cutting tables handle multi-layer fabric spreads with precision pattern matching. Each layer is inspected for defects before cutting. Off-cuts are minimized through optimized nesting software, and fabric remnants are tracked for waste reduction.

Sewing & Assembly Lines

Six production lines run simultaneously, each dedicated to a product category — hi-vis garments, coveralls, jacket-pants sets, FR workwear, and specialized protective clothing. Every line is supervised by a QC inspector who performs random in-line checks during production. Reinforced stitching at stress points is standard across all products. We use industrial-grade JUKI and Brother sewing machines with scheduled maintenance cycles.

Logo Embroidery & Printing

Our in-house decoration department handles custom logo embroidery (Tajima multi-head machines), screen printing (manual and semi-automatic carousels), and heat transfer application. We support vector artwork, Pantone color matching, and multi-color designs. Pre-production strike-offs are sent for approval before bulk application.

Reflective Tape Application

ANSI and EN-certified reflective tapes are applied on dedicated stations with heat-seal or stitch-down methods depending on the garment specification. Tape placement is verified against the relevant standard’s measurement requirements — 2-inch width, specified gaps, and certified brightness levels.

Performance Testing Lab

Our on-site testing lab verifies key performance claims before shipment: water resistance (spray rating and hydrostatic head), flame resistance (vertical flame test to NFPA 2112), electrostatic dissipation (EN 1149-5), and reflective brightness (retroreflection coefficient). We maintain calibration records for all testing equipment and provide third-party SGS/Intertek reports on request.

Ironing, Finishing & Final QC

Every garment passes through professional pressing stations for a clean, retail-ready finish. Our final QC team performs 100% visual inspection to AQL 2.5 standards — checking stitching, zipper function, reflective tape adhesion, size labeling, and overall appearance. Any defect is flagged, reworked, and re-inspected before packing.

Packing & Shipping

Finished products are poly-bagged individually, labeled with barcode and size information, and packed into export-grade cartons. Each carton is weighed, labeled, and logged in our inventory system. We ship via sea freight (LCL/FCL), air freight, or express courier (DHL/FedEx/UPS) depending on your timeline and budget. DDP shipping available — we handle customs clearance and duties.

Visit Us

Factory visits are welcome by appointment. We need approximately two weeks’ notice. If travel isn’t possible, we offer live video walkthroughs of our production floor — you can see your order being made in real time.
